Ranked Best Regional Hospital - Again

Huntsville Hospital has been named the best hospital in North Alabama, and No. 2 in the state, by U.S. News & World Report. We were also recognized as High Performing in 11 of 15 medical specialties for adult patients:

For its 2021-22 Best Hospitals rankings, U.S. News evaluated all 113 acute-care hospitals in Alabama. Only UAB Hospital in Birmingham was rated higher than Huntsville Hospital.

The rankings are based on several factors including risk-adjusted survival and readmission rates, patient experience surveys, patient volumes and nurse staffing levels.
