Anyone else staring longingly at your favorite sweaters, tall boots and scarves and wishing it was cool enough to wear them? Have you tried in vain to dress in layers, only to shed them all before lunch?
Boy do we wish it would feel like fall around here.

So, we went looking for the bright side of this super hot weather. And even though it would be nice to have a cold morning to sip a hot pumpkin spice latte, we actually found a few reasons why the heat isn’t so bad.
The Bright Side of 80° Weather in Huntsville in November
Patios
Don’t know about you, but we had dinner on the patio at a local restaurant just last weekend. Twice in fact. The great thing about warm weather is most patios are still open.
Hiking & Biking
Parks, greenways and hiking trails are still getting plenty of use. That’s a plus for dry weather too. Woohoo!
Cool Treats
No one has put away the ice cream. Or popsicles. Or iced coffees. Pumpkin spice lattes can be served frappuccino-style!
Shorts
We’re pretty much still wearing shorts and flip-flops. And we will keep wearing them until it’s at least below 50°!
Hockey!
Hockey games are looking pretty good right now. Our only chance to get bundled up and see ice? Yes please!
Food Trucks
Hot weather is conducive to food truck enjoyment. It’s a proven fact.
How are you managing this November heat?
