4 New Restaurants We Are Loving

4 New Restaurants We Are LovingWe get so excited when we hear about new restaurants opening in Huntsville, especially when they are as special and unique as these four.

Here’s what we have been enjoying over the past few months:

4 New Restaurants We Are Loving

Oshi Poke

oshi poke

Another new-to-market concept, Oshi brings poke (pronounced POH-keh) bowls to downtown Huntsville and the response has been phenomenal.

Whether you love sushi, vegetables, or just great food, Oshi will have something for you. In addition to whole, fresh (never frozen) fish, they also offer shrimp, beef, and two tofu options.

We love the build your own bowl as well as the Crunch sushi roll. YUM!

Address: 201 Jefferson St N Ste 1, Huntsville, AL 35801

Pofta Buna International Cafe

Pofta Buna

Pofta Buna just opened a little over a week ago inside Lowe Mill in the old Happy Tummy location (Happy Tummy recently relocated outside near Pizzelle’s).

Their specialty is something that didn’t previously exist in Huntsville: crepes! With savory or sweet crepes, flatbreads, and desserts, there’s something for everyone.

We went with the Vegetarian Crepe which was filled with cheddar and mozzarella cheese, pesto, fresh cut tomatoes, organic spinach, and feta cheese.

What an indulgent treat! The Nutella crepe, Profiterole, and House Tiramisu are all calling our names as well.

Address: 2211 Seminole Dr SW, Huntsville, Alabama 35805

Fire & Spice Smokehouse – New Vegan Menu

Fire & Spice

Fire & Spice Smokehouse has been open for a while now, but they recently launched an entirely new vegan menu that we have been raving about over on Instagram. That’s right, a SMOKEHOUSE with a vegan menu.

We have been repeat offenders of the Totally Rad Tacos that are piled high with pinto beans, vegetable medley (red, orange, and yellow peppers, jalapenos, etc.), hot sauce, spring mix, and pico de gallo. Also look for Pinata Quesadillas, 256 Nachos, and the Cali Bowl.

Address: 11220 S Memorial Pkwy Suite P, Huntsville, AL 35803

Church Street Purveyor

purveyor

Purveyor is one of those restaurants that has you double checking where you are.

Nashville?

Chicago?

No. Downtown Huntsville at The Avenue.

Purveyor has quickly become a favorite date night and special occasion spot of ours. We love how Purveyor is able to offer a fine dining experience that accommodates lovers of traditional fine dining as well as those who might have thought it’s not for them.

The menu will include familiar classics (scallops, salmon, steak, Wagyu short ribs) as well as some creative, fun items you might not be expecting like French Lollipop Wings and Mini Seafood Corn Dogs

Address: 201 Jefferson St N, Huntsville, AL 35801

Are any of these spots new favorites of yours as well?
