While some people might eye roll at the thought of taking photos of food or the spaces they’re dining in, food culture has become a major part of the social media world.
Restaurants know that having eye-catching spaces, decor, food, and drinks can really have a positive impact on business by encouraging customers to take photos of their experience that will be shared with others which often leads to more people feeling like they have to check it out.
Whether a restaurant is a newcomer to the scene looking to make an impact or a business that’s been bringing cool vibes since the pre-Instagram days, we love local businesses that have a passion for creating an amazing experience.
Favorite Foodie Spots to Post on Instagram
Here are 6 Huntsville restaurants we can’t resist taking a photo of before indulging.
3017 Governors Dr SW, Huntsville, AL 35801
(256) 534-0866 | Visit Bandito’s Website/Facebook
Have you SEEN this place? There’s so much going on inside, and we LOVE it. There are lights, stickers, posters, and even Santa Claus. Their patio is just as Instagrammable too! Our photos at Bandito are some of our most liked photos on Instagram year after year.
The No Carne and Green Bean burritos keep us coming back regularly. As cool as West Huntsville is becoming, we have to give credit to Bandito for being one of the OG spots in the neighborhood that continues to kill it.
Oshi Poke & Sushi
201 Jefferson St N Ste A, Huntsville, AL 35801
(256) 945-7805 | Visit Oshi Poke’s Website
We’re convinced it is impossible to take a bad photo of your food here. The huge windows in their downtown location let so much natural light into this space, and the beautiful colors of the food just pop!
The Sea Fog bowl is a favorite and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to try one of their poke bowls for the first time. Pair your bowl with a Crunch Roll for an extra treat.
2211 Seminole Dr SW Ste. 2073, Huntsville, AL 35805
(256) 344-1774 | Visit Tribal Kombucha’s Website
We’re jealous of the space Tribal Kombucha has to work with at Lowe Mill. There’s no way to replicate the look and feel you get from a place that has existed for over 100 years.
On top of the priceless character of the building, they did a great job making use of the space by adding unique furnishings in all the areas of the shop. The bohemian vibes are strong here and a perfect fit for a local kombucha taproom. We loved the Witch Doctor flavor and can’t wait to try them all!
Good Company Cafe
7500 Memorial Pkwy SW #123, Huntsville, AL 35802
(256) 881-0044 | Visit Good Company Cafe’s Website
Chances are if there’s a space with colorful velvet couches or chairs, we’re going to ‘gram it! Good Company designed a layout that truly feels like a French cafe.
Sign us up for their specials like the hummus toast served with house olive bread, feta, cumin carrots, pickled radish, and microleeks. We love that at Good Company it feels like an equally appropriate place to have breakfast with a cappuccino or charcuterie paired with wine.
Gold Sprint Coffee
2515 9th Ave SW, Huntsville, AL 35805
(256) 517-8733 | Visit Gold Sprint’s Instagram
It’s very likely you’ve seen a similar photo at Gold Sprint Coffee pop up on your feed lately. We’re pretty sure you didn’t go to Gold Sprint if you didn’t take this photo.
We don’t blame you, and they’ve done a great job curating a space reminiscent of California in the 70’s that will make you feel like you’ve been transported in time. The WOW factor continues with the special drinks they serve up including popular favorites like the butterfly tea latte and nitrogen infused dirty chai on draft.
Piper & Leaf x Lowe Mill
2211 Seminole Dr SW Studio 151, Huntsville, AL 35805
(256) 929-9404 | Visit Piper and Leaf’s Website
See above statement about colorful velvet chairs ;). While all the Piper & Leaf locations could be deemed “Instagrammable” there’s just something special about their original location at Lowe Mill.
It’s cozy inside, and they made great use of their space. The branded glass jars add that extra amount of detail we like seeing from a great local business.
