If you are in search of local, natural and sustainable foods, there are a variety of CSA’s, co-ops and grocers making it happen every day of the week in the Rocket City.
What is a CSA (Community-supported agriculture)?
Here are the basics: a farmer offers a certain number of “shares” to the public which consists of a box of seasonal produce. Interested consumers purchase a share (aka a “membership”) and in return receive their box of seasonal produce each week throughout the farming season.
