We made it to March. Now we can officially break out the flip-flops and allergy meds. It’s almost Spring in the South and we love it.

And what does Huntsville do for us in March??
Let’s take a look.
5 Insane Reasons to Love Huntsville in March
1. The blooming trees
Yes, the Bradford Pears stink, but all of the other blooming trees are just so pretty and amazing! Cherry blossoms, redbuds, dogwoods and crepe myrtles oh my!
2. St. Patrick’s Day
We know how to party on St. Paddy’s day. It’s one of our most fun and celebrated Huntsville holidays. We’re all a little Irish for the day! Keep up with the events as we add them to our calendar.
3. Fly a kite
March is just good kite weather. In our opinion, not enough folks (read that as adults) around here fly kites, so we are advocating the change. Buy a kite and fly it! Go!
4. The return of patio weather
There’s nothing better than soaking up the sun while dining on your favorite local patio. March has warm enough afternoons to make lunch extra special.
5. Spring Break
Now hear us out! If you travel for spring break, you have to eventually come back home. And when you do, it’s warmer, brighter, sunnier and you have to mow your grass, but still!
And if you stay home for spring break, the streets are quieter and it’s easier to get to work on the arsenal, and your favorite restaurant is significantly less crowded.
YAY March!!
