Me too.
And any holiday that marries food with geekiness is going to earn two forks up from me. Which is why Pi Day (March 14 as in 3.14…) is one of my favorite holidays. And how better to celebrate than with pi/e from your favorite local spots?
Celebrate Pi Day With Favorite Local Pie
Chicken Pot Pi

Gluten Free Pi
Mason Dixon Bakery offers gluten free (and other allergen free) treats that are so good they will convert the gluten lovers. (On second thought, let them think gluten free means it tastes like cardboard, that way there is more for you!) Pie is generally more of a fall item, but since they’re as geeky as we are, they’ll be offering a special Pi Day menu. Look for cran-apple, chocolate chess, and strawberry rhubarb, sold by the slice.

Peanut Butter Pi
It’s called pie, but it could just as well be called cheesecake. Or simply “decadent”. With a crushed cookie base and a thick, creamy filling, this pie is worth a trip all it’s own.
