Huntsville is a diverse melting pot and we love adding to that mix. But sometimes, it’s nice to have some inside knowledge on how to fit in! We asked our bloggers and contributors to tell us what they think, so we can pass it along to you.

If you want to fit in in Huntsville, you need to have an active life.
In any day you can hike at one of our many nature areas, stroll around any of several wonderful museums, take one of many walking tours, go out and enjoy the booming craft beer scene, join one of the local bicycle groups, or just enjoy the day in one of our parks. – Wil Elrick
Smile, say hello and be yourself, and you will fit in perfectly in Huntsville. – Lawanda Stevenson
Be charitable! Our community is filled with generous people of all ages who want to help others. – Pam Sparks
I would say to fit in, it helps to be a big fan of a book or TV show, like Doctor Who for Con-Kasterborous, or comic books for Rocket City Nerdcon. There are a lot of fan groups where people can talk about TV show or book obsession. – Stephanie Schrenk
