Tips and Tricks to Navigate Our Valley Events

Welcome to ourvalleyevents.com!  Thank you for visiting our site.  We hope that you find every event that you are looking for and plenty more that you didn’t know about.  And, if you know of one that we didn’t catch… please submit it!

Here are some handy tips and tricks to make navigating the site a little easier:

The home page includes posts from the staff that we think you will find interesting.  These may include upcoming events, sponsor spotlights, outside the calendar ideas, etc.  If you have an idea that you would like to include on our home page please go to ”Contact Us” on the black bar at the top of any page and let us know about it.

To view the comprehensive events calendar, click on “View All Events” on the white bar on any page and scroll down.

To search events you may search by word, date, or type of event.  Below are tricks to make it easier…

  •           Searching by Word- the “Event Search” frame is for searching the calendar only.  NOT the entire website. 
  •           Searching by Date- click on the calendar date where you would like to begin your search.  Events will begin at that date and continue into the future
  •           Searching by Type of Event- when you begin your search all event types are selected.  To deselect an event type one-by-one, click on an individual checkmark beside the event type name.  HOWEVER, TO GO STRAIGHT TO A SPECIFIC EVENT TYPE WITHOUT DESELECTING EACH INIDIVIDUAL EVENT TYPE, CLICK ON THE NAME OF THE EVENT TYPE YOU WOULD LIKE TO GO TO.

To submit an event, click on “Add Your Event” on the white bar on any page.  And to make sure you catch their attention, don’t forget… featured event listings are available.  Click on “Advertising” on the black bar at the top of any page to contact us for pricing.

Are you planning an event?  The “Event Planners” section is for groups planning an event with expected attendance over 100 people.  Use this section to prevent overlap with other organizations.  Also, enter your event in this section for planning purposes.
