5. Folk Fusion: Where Folk Art Meets Fashion
Calling all superheroes! Join Sci-Quest for an action packed evening with special guests Spider-Man, Agent Carter, Thor, Batman and Captain America!
6. Battle of the Buffalo
Annual chicken wing festival held at Big Spring Park serving over 40,000 wings with proceeds benefitting the Russel Hill Cancer Foundation.

7. Huntsville Ballet Company’s Peter Pan
The world premiere of Peter Pan featuring original choreography by Artistic Director Phillip Otto. Take flight with Wendy, Michael and John as they follow Peter into the magical world of Neverland.
8. Yuri’s Night!
Thousands attend every year. Costume Party+DJ+Laser Lights+Craft Beer & Wine+Food Trucks+Dancing+and many more surprises.
9. Downtown Huntsville Street Food Gatherings
Street food gatherings are the third Friday of each month. April’s gathering will take place at AM Booth’s Lumberyard.
10.Brahms Festivals presented by the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra
You’ll recognize the haunting third movement of Symphony No. 3, and guest artist Nikki Chooi brings the Violin Concerto to life.
11. The Little Mermaid presented by Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theater
Travel with the Little Mermaid to the Top of the Sea where she becomes friends with a funny but reluctant prince. Directed by Leslie Lanza.
12. Concerts on the Dock at Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment
Spring Concerts on the Dock is back. Family and pet-friendly. Bring lawn chairs, picnics and dancing shoes.
13. Heads -n- Tails Crawfish Boil
Visit the Von Braun Center South Hall for a variety of zydeco tunes along with wonderful crawfish and other delicious choices for those not interested in the creepy crawlers – and meet local brewmasters and sample their latest creations!
14. Beer Hop Craft Beer Trolley Tour
Enjoy a flight of beer at each brewery as the city trolley whisks you to each location.
15. Panoply Arts Festival
A Huntsville Tradition for over a quarter century! Held each April in Big Spring International Park, this three-day outdoor festival features presentations, demonstrations, workshops, fireworks, and FUN…while promoting and enhancing the arts.
16. The Illusionists presented by Broadway Theatre League
This mind-blowing spectacular showcases the jaw-dropping talents of the most incredible Illusionists on earth. Witness the Impossible has dazzled audiences of all ages with a powerful mix of the most outrageous and astonishing acts ever to be seen on stage.
17. WhistleStop Festival & Rocket City BBQ Cook-Off
A foot-stompin’, pig-chompin’ two-day festival on the grounds of the Huntsville Depot. Live entertainment, children’s play zone, and professional and amateur BBQ cooking competitions. Proceeds support the EarlyWorks Museum Complex.
18. Good Day Kids Fest
Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment in partnership with Rocket City Mom host the BIGGEST BIRTHDAY PARTY EVER!!!
19. Rocket City Brewfest
Brought to you by the folks at Free the Hops, the Rocket City Brewfest is a weekend event dedicated to our favorite adult beverage. They gather the best beer available in the Tennessee Valley, with an emphasis on local and regional breweries.
20. City Lights and Stars featuring Mambo Gris Gris
An evening of music set to one of the best views in Huntsville, atop Burritt on the Mountain.
21. The Twelfth Annual Cigar Box Guitar Festival
This event is the longest running Cigar Box Guitar festival in the world, celebrating all aspects of Cigar Box Guitar folk culture.
22. Concerts in the Park
The series showcases a mix of musical genres from rock and roll, pop and top 40 to swing, country, bluegrass, Celtic and jazz. The Concerts take place in downtown Huntsville on the Huntsville Museum of Art outdoor stage in Big Spring
