Add a little “Colorblocking” to your Spring 2012 wardrobe!

It’s that time of year again… catalogs start crowding your mailbox with all the latest Spring looks, boutiques get an influx of new sundresses, and you start seeing adorable wedges and sandals all over shoe departments that are calling your name!! Yes, the Spring bug has definitely hit me and I’m sure it is on the way to your wardrobe as well!  I’m ready to start gradually brightening my closet for Spring and I’m sure it has crossed your mind once or twice as well!

As a wardrobe consultant, I am already getting calls from my clients that are ready for their “seasonal” wardrobe make-over/ update!  However, the number one question I have heard so far is which one of the biggest trends for Spring 2012 is appropriate for all age groups, body shapes, etc?  My answer…COLORBLOCKING!!  This trend can be spotted all over runways for this Spring and is the fastest way to add a current trend while brightening your looks at the same time!!  From dresses to skirts, to shoes and bags, fashionistas everywhere just can’t get enough of this great look!

If you like to step into a trend slowly, try it on a bag or shoe!

Or, if you like to “go big” when you try something new, try it in a great statement dress!  Plus, guess what makes a great new trend even better…when it can be found locally!  This great little number is carried at The Pink Pelican on Whitesburg Drive!  Stop by and “shop local”!

Good luck as you start your Spring updates!  And of course, if you need a little extra assistance, Personal Couture is always available to help!  Hiring a stylist is a great option to help you pick out new looks and feel confident enough to sport them!
